Photos: Workin’ at the Car Wash…

Pride Charlotte sends out a big, warm and happy “thank you” to all the folks who teamed up to present last Saturday’s Community Unity Car Wash!

Held on Saturday, July 23, at H&H Automotive on South Blvd., the Car Wash was organized by Jaisen Putnam, who works at Sidelines and Dilworth Neighborhood Grill. Sidelines owners John Sinclair and Kevin Cooper were also involved in the event’s planning.

Proceeds from the event, from donations for each car wash, benefited Pride Charlotte and the Human Rights Campaign. Jaisen and team raised a total of $1,100 for each groups, with an additional $100 in donations at an after-wash evening party at The Woodshed Lounge.

Pride Charlotte would like to thank in full a variety of people, businesses and organizations that helped to organize the Car Wash, support it or work there, including: H&H Automotive, Dilworth Neighborhood Grill, AutoZone, DJ Danny Gallegos, Sidelines, Woodshed, Hartigan’s and so many others!
