Charlotte Pride, in partnership with Charlotte Black Pride, announced on April 28, 2020, that all in-person annual Pride events originally scheduled in July and August are cancelled.

When is the 2020 event planned?
The 2020 event will be held Aug. 1-2, 2020, in Uptown Charlotte.
Is the festival and parade free to attend?
YES! We do not charge admission to the festival or the parade and both are free to attend! Concerts at the main stage and community stage are also free to watch. We do sell VIP passes for extra benefits. See next question.
What is VIP and how can I buy a pass?
The Charlotte Pride VIP Experience gives passholders exclusive access to an air-conditioned lounge, complimentary beverages and hors d’oeuvres, and other benefits. Passes are now on sale.
Do you have any host hotels?
Official host hotel rates and booking will be available in early 2020.
How can I volunteer for the festival and parade?

How can I apply to march in the parade or set up a vendor booth in the festival zone?

Why is Charlotte’s Pride event held in August, instead of June?
Understandable question! We get it all the time. Like many other Pride organizations across the country and world, Charlotte’s events are not held in June for a variety of reasons.
