If you missed the Bank of America Charlotte Pride Parade last Sunday, whew, you missed quite a treat. Over 120 marching units, over 20 floats, nearly 3,000 individual marchers and tens of thousands of onlookers. It was fab.
Our four parade emcees and judges — Lana Cane, Jeremiah Nelson, City Councilmember Patsy Kinsey and Chirl Girl — kept their eyes peeled for parade award winners this year. They were announced on the Wells Fargo Stage that afternoon, but in case you missed it, here are some wonderful photos and the full list of 2015 parade award winners…
