HB2: A Transgender Perspective presented by Charlotte Trans Pride

Charlotte Trans Pride hosts a keynote address, panel discussion and social on Monday, Aug. 15, 6:30 p.m., Levine Museum of the New South in Uptown Charlotte. An official Charlotte Pride Week Event presented by Charlotte Pride.

Keynote speaker Candis Cox, a Raleigh-based transgender advocate and educator who met with Gov. Pat McCrory and asked him to work for a repeal of HB2, will join a diverse panel explore HB2 from a transgender perspective and the legislaiton’s impact on the transgender community in Charlotte and North Carolina.

A social hour with hors d’oeuvres and other refreshments will precede the panel.
