Charlotte Pride’s free two-day cultural festival includes diverse national, regional and local entertainers, musicians and bands, and numerous participating vending booths, including art exhibitors, area non-profits, political candidates, retailers, food stands and more. The premier event is the culmination of a week-long slate of Charlotte Pride Week events highlighting the social, cultural, ethnic, artistic and political diversity of the metro Charlotte area’s LGBTQ community. The festival zone is located on S. Tryon St.

Accessibility

accessibility-iconsCharlotte Pride is proud to be one of the only Uptown festivals to consistently provide accessible opportunities for our entire community over several years.
Charlotte Pride strives to provide an accessible experience for all our attendees and participants. Accessible restrooms, VIP Lounge and stage viewing area will be provided. Sign language interpreters will be available for stage entertainment and at the parade judges/emcee stand.

This family-friendly zone will include games, crafts, dress up and a place for families to be together and have fun. It is intended for children under 11 who are accompanied by an adult. Hours: August 18, Noon-6 p.m.; August 19, 1:30-6 p.m.
