Charlotte Pride’s free two-day cultural festival includes diverse national, regional and local entertainers, musicians and bands, and numerous participating vending booths, including art exhibitors, area non-profits, political candidates, retailers, food stands and more. The premier event is the culmination of a week-long slate of Charlotte Pride Week events highlighting the social, cultural, ethnic, artistic and political diversity of the metro Charlotte area’s LGBTQ community. The festival zone is located on S. Tryon St.

Flourish: A Celebration of LGBTQ Arts & Culture

Charlotte Pride’s miniature arts festival within the larger Charlotte Pride Festival! Spoken word, dance, film, choral arts, and more! This year, including a special performance by the band from the hit Broadway musical “The Band’s Visit,” in partnership with the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center. Located inside the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art on Saturday, Aug. 17, with outdoor activities on the plaza featuring an interactive art exhibit, “Airing Out the Dirty Laundry,” 2-4:30pm.

The BRAND NEW Charlotte Pride Health Fair, presented by Amity Medical Group and RX Clinic Pharmacy, at Tryon & MLK Blvd. Visit the health fair to learn more about transgender health care, HIV prevention, treatment, and advocay, reproductive healthcare and advocacy, substance abuse prevention and treatment, veterans care, heart health, and more!

Neighborhood Market, presented by Gilead

The BRAND NEW Charlotte Pride Neighborhood Market, presented by Gilead, on Levine Ave. Featuring small and independent retailers selling a variety of local and handcrafted goods. Charlotte Pride Small Business!

Charlotte Pride Karaoke Stage

Back by popular demand! One of the festival’s most highly anticipated attractions each year! Pick your song, get in line, and belt it out like a superstar! Located on 3rd St.

Family & Youth Zones

Charlotte Pride loves families and young people! Stop by the PNC Mobile Learning Adventure with your little one and let them play dress up as they explore their “big people” jobs and careers! Intentionally designed for children up to age 5. Located on MLK Blvd. Just around the corner, stop by the Charlotte Pride Youth Zone, presented by Microsoft in partnership with Time Out Youth. Young people ages 11-20 will have a great time with video games and other interactive activities!

LGBTQ Friendly College Fair

Campus Pride presents its annual LGBTQ Friendly College Fair. Students can chat with representatives from inclusive and affirming colleges and universities and learn more about their future educational opportunities. Saturday, Aug. 17, 1-4pm, on Levine Ave.

Charlotte Pride Food Court

Hungry? We’ve got you covered! Stop by our food court for some a variety of tasty treats and meals, ranging from your traditional festival-style food to more eclectic choices. Get your grub and head over to our plentiful picnic tables to eat up and relax a bit before heading back out into the festival!
