When is the 2019 event planned?
The 2019 event will be held Aug. 17-18, 2019, in Uptown Charlotte.
Is the festival and parade free to attend?
YES! We do not charge admission to the festival or the parade and both are free to attend! Concerts at the main stage and community stage are also free to watch. We do sell VIP passes for extra benefits. See next question.
What is VIP and how can I buy a pass?

How can I volunteer for the festival and parade?

How can I apply to march in the parade or set up a vendor booth in the festival zone?
The deadline to apply for vendor spaces and parade entries has already passed. Unfortunately, we are not able to reopen applications once they have closed.
Why is Charlotte’s Pride event held in August, instead of June?
Understandable question! We get it all the time. Like many other Pride organizations across the country and world, Charlotte’s events are not held in June for a variety of reasons.
