Welcome to Pride in the Piedmont: Past and Present. Launching soon, this online, interactive community history exhibit explores the LGBTQ Pride Movement in the Western Piedmont of North Carolina, including in Charlotte, Gastonia, Greensboro, Hickory, Salisbury, Winston-Salem and elsewhere. This online exhibit is presented by the Charlotte Pride History Project, an ongoing community history initiative to document, collect, preserve, and present LGBTQ and Pride Movement history in Charlotte and the broader Carolinas region.
