Charlotte Pride is the leader in LGBTQ visibility in Charlotte and the Carolinas. Our mission is to create programs and activities to enrich, empower, strengthen, and make visible the unique lives and experiences of LGBTQ people in Charlotte and the Carolinas. Since our founding in 2000, Charlotte Pride has expanded our year-round programming and partnerships to better connect community members with our mission, vision, and values.

The annual Charlotte Pride Festival and Parade is the premier event bringing together the LGBTQ communities of the Carolinas and is the single-largest LGBTQ event held between Washington, D.C. and Atlanta. The festival and parade also acts as a primary fundraiser for our programs, including the annual Reel Out Charlotte, Trans Pride and Latin Pride, as well as activities for area LGBTQ youth.

Last year’s festival and parade was a two-day event with a record-breaking 150,000 visitors over the course of the weekend. This diverse crowd provided a unique marketing opportunity for businesses intent on creating relationships within the LGBTQ community. Primary funding for the festival and parade comes from our Sponsors. (Click here to see a list of 2017 sponsors.)

The 2018 Charlotte Pride Festival and Parade will be held on August 18-19, 2018 and will be preceded by a week of community events and activities. Detailed event information will be posted as it becomes available at charlottepride.org.

On behalf of the board of directors, our program committees and volunteers, we would like to thank you for taking the time to consider becoming a sponsor of our organization and annual event. Your support ensures the success of all our year-round programs.
